The Indian aviation industry maybe in the doldrums and in soap opera fashion retrenching only to reinstate employees. However, international aviation industry seem healthy enough to pick up the slack.
Emirates Airline vice president (India and Nepal) Orhan Abbas says, "In fact we are looking for more people from India. We will recruit more people as cabin crew and other operations."
This is indeed good news for those staring at the pink slip. Nevertheless, the carnage in the Indian aviation sector means Emirates or other airlines recruit Indian employees dirt cheap.
