A New York Times/ CBS news poll reveals that the 10 % of able jobless American’s suffer long-term effects from prolonged unemployment.
The poll results suggests anxiety is high, optimism low, with 71 percent of the unemployed rating their financial situation as now "very or fairly bad" and 75 percent saying they consider it "very or somewhat likely" that their unemployment benefits will run out before they find a job.
