Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), a TATA group company that runs the globally recognized Taj Hotels and Palaces Chain of hotels has announced recruitment and a salary freeze.
RK Krishna Kumar, Vice-Chairman of the hotel chain told media persons that by resorting to recruitment and wage freeze, the group expects to save Rs. 15 crores.
It is also pertinent to recollect the hotel chain along with the impact of recession; suffered hugely because of the Mumbai terror attacks.
